Additional Program Details

To facilitate networking, and to add to your IWIPS 2004 experience, the following are included in your registration package:

Welcome Reception

An evening reception will be held at the conference hotel (the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel) on 8 July 2004 from 6 to 8 pm (1800 to 2000 hours).

Dinner Cruise

Join us for an unique Vancouver experience offering unparalleled panoramic views of the city skyline, the surrounding Coastal Mountain range and many of the area's most famous landmarks.

On Friday 9 July 2004, you will cruise Vancouver harbour aboard the vessel Constitution.

Boarding Time: 6:30 pm
Departure Time: 7:00 pm
Return Time 9:30 pm

Buses will leave outside the front door of the hotel beginning at 6:00.

The dinner cruise is provided to all registered conference participants as part of the registration package. Additional dinner cruise tickets may be purchased at a cost of
US $70 per person. Availability is limited, so please book prior to the 2nd of July 2004.

Networking Dinners

To take advantage of time with colleagues, conference participants are invited to a networking dinner on Thursday 8 July following the reception. The restaurant for this event is Aqua Riva by the Vancouver harbour, and a short walk from the conference hotel.

Interested participants must make their own reservations directly with the restaurant
by telephone at (+1 604 883 -5599). Be sure to identify yourself as an IWIPS participant. Important note: You must make your reservation three weeks in advance of the conference (by 17 June 2004). This dinner is not included in the conference registration fee, and is optional.
