Located in downtown Vancouver, in the heart of the business district, the prestigious Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle is an architectural marvel, a gleaming tower standing proudly above the city's vibrant skyline. Only a short block from the city's waterfront, it is also a few blocks from the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, cruise ship terminals, Robson Street shopping and Stanley Park.

There are three types of guest rooms available at the special conference rates, each with either a king bed or two double beds. Rates are per room, not per guest. Attendees will receive these special room rates:

• City View - CA$ 210 + 17% tax
  
• Harbour/Mountain View room - CA$ 240 + 17% tax
  
• Concierge room - CA $260 + 17% tax

Please Note: In the summer Vancouver hotels often are full, so to avoid disappointment, IWIPS attendees should reserve their rooms early. The block of rooms reserved for IWIPS 2004 expires on 23 June 2004.

Ground Transportation

By taxi: Taxis are available outside the main Vancouver terminal. Cost from the airport to downtown is approximately CA$ 25 one way.

By car: Vancouver - YVR (18 km N) Grant McConachie Way to Granville Street, proceed North across the Granville St. Bridge. Take the Seymour Street exit, head north on Seymour until West Hastings Street. Turn left and travel approximately 5 blocks to the Delta Pinnacle Vancouver Hotel. From U.S. Border - I-5 becomes Hwy 99. Follow over Oak Street bridge, turn left at Broadway, right on Burrard. Left on West Hastings.

By bus/shuttle bus: Vancouver International Airport is serviced by the Vancouver Airporter Shuttle, various charter bus companies, TransLink, taxi and limousine services. The Vancouver Airporter departs regularly, approximately every 40 minutes, from selected downtown hotels beginning at 5:25 a.m. daily.
