Taking place in Southern Mexico, in the beautiful city of Mérida and its surroundings, this workshop is an opportunity to immerse oneself into the richness and variety of its culture. The workshop will use methodologies and techniques of visual ethnography in order to capture, through digital photography, daily life scenes by the participants. The collected material will be analyzed and discussed in a final group session, where explicit and implicit cultural characteristics are identified. The results of the workshop will be presented on Saturday, 30 of June, to all conference attendees.
