Growing Global Design Communities

IWIPS 2010, a unique global design forum, comes to London, England, 7 – 10 July 2010 for its 9th international conference.

IWIPS 2010 will explore the issues of Growing Global Design Communities. These communities offer the possibilities for technology to transcend cultural boundaries and meet the challenges presented when developing products for a global marketplace.

IWIPS 2010 brings together researchers and practitioners to generate and exchange interesting and useful insights on embracing intercultural awareness and internationalisation best practices in technology development.

IWIPS 2010 features a variety of keynotes, presentations, breakout sessions, tutorials and social events to facilitate international networking and information exchange.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will begin with a tour of London in one of the iconic old London Routemasters - a double-decker red bus.

The tour will include one of London’s Blue Badge tour guides to provide historical information along the way. The tour of London will finish in Mayfair in the heart of London, where we will proceed to The Audley, one of London’s gastro pubs, for the conference dinner.

Social Event

The IWIPS Local Committee has organized an evening in a traditional pub in Ealing, The Rose and Crown is located near to the conference centre. The pub will also be providing one of their master brewers to give a demonstration of the many beers they produce.


That IWIPS publishes all of its workshop / conference proceedings.
