Saddle uses XML documents to define screens that are displayed with a specialised browser. These documents are designed to preserve contextual cues necessary for translation, and can be adapted to the local language and culture without modifying the base application or manually resizing user interface elements. Saddle is a fully implemented system and we discuss our experience with it.Original publication:
