This paper is a preliminary attempt to establish a benchmark of internationalization activities. It reports the results of an inventory of product and systems internationalization distributed at two conferences during 1999. The survey instrument is described, and published reports of internationalization efforts are reviewed. Finally, recommendations are made for the more systematic and thorough assessment of internationalization, in support of multi-year trend analysis.Original publication:
